Our Mission
JOMACS Tech Academy was founded with a clear vision: to demystify technology and make high-quality tech education accessible to Africans, particularly in Ghana and Nigeria, as well as those in the diaspora looking to transition into tech careers.
How it started
The Beginning
JOMACS Tech Academy was born from a shared vision among seven accomplished software engineers of African origin, working in North America and Europe. United by their passion for technology and commitment to African development, they recognized the vast untapped potential within the African tech ecosystem.
The founders, having experienced firsthand the transformative power of technology careers, understood that success in tech isn't about where you come from. It's about dedication, proper guidance, and access to quality education.
This understanding led to the establishment of JOMACS Tech Academy, creating a bridge between African talent and the global tech industry, while proving that anyone with the desire to learn can become a successful tech professional.
